Stars & Back candle by Moon & Back, from the wonderful Sarah Weir, mum to Neuroblastoma Superhero Evie.
Evie, a brave and courageous little girl who faced childhood cancer with unwavering courage and love. Evie gained her angel wings in December 2017 after her battle with neuroblastoma. Sarah has given us this beautiful candle in memory of her daughter.
When Evie passed away, Sarah's friend, who had a candle business, made her an 'Evie Grace' candle. So many people wanted one that she ended up making and selling them, and we have since sold them at fundraisers.
This year, she made ‘Moon and Back, Stars and Back’ to go with Sarah's book, of the same title. Evie and Sarah used to say ‘I love you to the moon and back, stars and back, space and back and the milky way’ which is where the title originates. ❤️
This special candle is strawberry and vanilla scented, as Evie loved Strawberry Shortcake and watched it in hospital and used to play with little Strawberry Shortcake toys from the play therapist.
